Jimmylu's is owned and operated by Jim and Marylu Ralls of Girard, Ohio. Marylu, the daughter of Guy and Irene Pagano of Girard, grew up here. She is a graduate of Girard High in 1974 and moved to Houston, Texas in 1981, where she worked for a credit union for 25 years. Jim, a native of Kansas, moved to Houston 35 years ago. He retired from Chevron Phillips after 30 years of service and later started cooking for special events as well as for family and friends. Jim and Marylu moved back to the area in January of 2010 and brought their catering business with them. Bringing a little Texas flare with Texas Style Brisket and Pulled Pork cooked in a wood burning pit, Jimmylu's will help customize your event needs from appetizers to desserts. "Being back in the area has been wonderful. We have had great support from our family and the community," said Marylu Ralls. "We take pride in every detail, using only the best and freshest ingredients." Our menu includes a wide variety of different delicious foods such as Caribbean, South of the Border, Bar-B-Cue and Italian. Everything is homemade down to the Bar-B-Cue sauce.Jimmylu's even has original dishes such as Boneless Chicken "Thangs" and Brazilian Beef Zhontajgieo. A must try for something out of the ordinary.
